Neo-Assyrian Empire

Throne-Dais of Shalmaneser III (858-824 B.C.) consists of two large slab of yellowish limestone decorated with three scenes in bas-relief depicting 84 persons. Its surface and sides are carved with writings mentioning the name of this king, his titles, deeds and conquests. Found at Nimrud.
